Xentek Motorsport And Sam Harvey Team Up For 2025 Porsche Campaign

Xentek Motorsport are delighted to announce Sam Harvey as their first driver for the 2025 Porsche Sprint Challenge GB season, with the GT rising star making the exciting step up to the headline ‘RS Pro’ class for his second year in the championship.

Harvey will be embarking on his fourth consecutive season of racing with the South Yorkshire squad, having first teamed up back in 2022 in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge. After a trophy-laden second season in that series, he made the move into the Sprint Challenge GB last year.

The 20-year-old from Sutton Coldfield enjoyed a fantastic first season in the Cayman, taking the title fight in the ‘CS Pro’ class down to the final race of the season. He ultimately finished with vice-champion honours, having secured six wins and 17 podium finishes across the campaign.

With that experience under his belt, Harvey has made the natural move up to the latest-generation Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS car for the 2025 campaign. He will embark on this exciting new chapter in his career with the crucial support of James E Smith Timber, Stainless International, R&A Properties LTD, Fire Management LTD, Foster Cranes, Fixings Plus, Luke 1977, Slicz (Energy For Golf), New Edge Investments, SJ Propety Developments and Chorus Comms.

Christopher Richards - Team Principal: “We’re thrilled to be going racing with Sam again in 2025. We’ve enjoyed a fantastic few years with Sam, watching him grow from a driver taking his first steps in car-racing into a proven race-winner with huge talent and potential. Moving up to the RS was the natural next step in his development and we’re confident he’ll enjoy some great results this year.”

Sam Harvey: “I’m absolutely delighted be back on the grid with Xentek Motorsport again this year, stepping up to the RS class in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB. It’s what we’ve all worked hard towards over the winter and I’m very grateful to all my sponsors and everyone else who’s given me the chance to continue following my dreams.”

Launched in 2020, the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB is one of the top one-make GT championships in the UK. The series utilises two-generations of Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 machinery, Clubsport and RS, with a large grid including classes for both Professional and Amateur drivers.

The 2025 Sprint Challenge GB season will be contested over 18 races across six events, all of which will take place on the support package of the British Touring Car Championship. The season gets underway at Donington Park over the weekend of 26/27 April.
